Montre Royale ? Three-Dialed Solar Rotating Clock Montre Royale de Geneve, No. 1065. Made circa 1980. Very fine, ingenious and impressive, solar-powered, revolving, tetradecagonal and triangular, gilt-brass table clock with three dials.
c. Multi-piece, textured gilt-brass, tetradecagonal inclined base set with 14 photoelectric cells, rotating on a triangular base with adjustable screw feet, three tapered angled brackets supporting the triangular clock case with a dial on each side, hand-setting, regulation wheel and day and night indication under the clock. D. Three brushed gilt with applied black baton quarter-hour indexes. Black baton hands with triangular counterpoises. m. The photoelectric cells wired via a circuit board to a remontoire to store the energy, small wheel train geared to the rotating base. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 31 x 27 cm.
