Jaeger Musical Alarm ? Carmen Toréador Jaeger, Swiss, ?Recital?. Made in the 1960s. Fine, 8 day-going keyless table clock with musical alarm playing ?Toréador? from Bizet?s opera Carmen.
c. Rectangular brass with lucite etched front panel depicting a sail boat, side panels in blue colored imitation mirrorfinish, the top engraved with a monogram ?AA? beneath a crown. D. Blue mirror-finish, anchors and wave patterns etched into the lucite panel. Gilt brass circle and baton hands, baton hand for alarm indication. m. Nickel-plated, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring. Signed on the dial plate. Dim. 12.8 x 8.8 x 4.5 cm.
