Made circa 1890. Extremely fine and rare, keyless, minuterepeating, 18K pink gold, lever chronometer pocket watch with chronograph, perpetual calendar, moon phases and lunar calendar.
C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets?, solid, polished. Hinged gold cuvette inscribed ?Bulletin de 1ere Classe de l?Observatoire de Genève?. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute and fifths of a second chronograph divisions, outer gold numerals calibrated to 300, subsidiary sunk dials for the days of the week, date, months of the leap year cycle and the seconds concentric with the moon phase aperture, the lunar calendar at the edge. Gold Louis XV hands. M. Cal. 20???, fausses cotes decoration, 34 jewels, straight line calibrated lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, antimagnetic Breguet balance-spring, visible chronograph work, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Case and cuvette signed, movement and case numbered. Diam. 57.2 mm.
