C. Two-body, ?oignon?, the back decorated with foliate and strapwork within a trellis border. D. Engraved gilt brass with radial black Roman numerals on white enamel cartouches, outer white enamel cartouches for the Arabic five-minute numerals, winding aperture between 2 and 3. Gilt brass hands. M. 44 mm, frosted gilt full plate, divided Egyptian pillars, fusee and chain, click and pawl set-up, verge escapement, four-arm brass balance, pierced and chased cock decorated with symmetrical foliage and strapwork, regulator with silver scale disc and finely chased foliate silver feet. Diam. 56 mm.
