C. Four body, massive, "bassine et filets", polished, flat band, the engine-turned back engraved with foliate initials ?JEM?. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and Arabic five-minute numerals, subsidiary seconds. Gold spade hands. M. 19"', matte gilt brass, bar calibre, 17 jewels, straightline lever escapement with shepherd?s crook counterpoise, two-arm cut bimetallic compensation balance with tempered steel arm, timing screws, special alloy helical balance spring with inner and outer terminal curves, index regulator. Cuvette signed, case and movement numbered. Diam. 51 mm.
