Huguenin & Grezet ? Minute Repeating Huguenin & Grezet, Locle (Swiss), No. 9749. Made circa 1870. Very fine, minute-repeating, 14K gold, hunting cased, keyless pocket watch.
C. Four-body, ?bassine et filets?, engine-turned with polished borders. Hinged gold cuvette, glazed goldrimmed cover to view the movement. D. White enamel with narrow radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds. Paste-set gold hands. M. 19???, rhodium plated, 29 jewels, counterpoised straight line lever escapement, the pallet fork upper pivot with gold endplate, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial signed. Diam. 52 mm.
