Universal Compax Dress Watch Universal, Genève, Compax, movement No. 244933, case No. 1072806. Made circa 1940. Fine and rare, stainless steel "Enversteel" keyless dress watch with chronograph, tachometer and instantaneous 30-minute and 12-hour registers.
C. Three-body, variée, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, snap-on back. D. Silvered with luminous Arabic numerals, outer minutes and fifths of a second numerals, outermost blue tachometer scale calculated for 1000 meters, subsidiary dials for seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers. Luminous blued steel lozenge hands. M. Cal. 292, 15???, nickel-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with timing screws, Breguet balance spring, index regulator, chronograph with visible work, push pieces on each side of the pendant. Dial, movement and case signed. Diam. 45 mm.
