SWISS ? Romanesque Style Desk Clock Swiss, movement No. 12669, case No. 5299. Made circa 1915. Fine and unusual, silver, enamel and rose quartz desk clock. Accompanied by a fitted gold-tooled leather case and key.

C. Rectangular, the top and sides decorated with narrow arches, foliate engraved between and overlaid with translucent enamel and white enamel dot decoration, the back with shutters for the winding, hand-setting and regulation, rose quartz base. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute track. Gold Louis XV hands. M. 43 x 31 mm., matte gilt, going barrel, vertically mounted straight-line lever escapement set into the backplate, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel flat balance spring, index regulator. Dim. 57.5 x 43.5 x 36 mm.
