The Basket Swiss, Geneva. Made circa 1810. Fine and rare, 18K gold, painted on enamel and pearl-set lady?s pendant watch.

Two-body, basket-form, split-pearl-set borders, the front cover with a painted on enamel scene of a sheep en couchant amongst flowers and foliage, translucent Royal blue guilloche enamel below, the back similarly decorated with a pair of billing doves. d. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute track, winding aperture at 2 o?clock. Blued steel Breguet hands. m. 22 mm., matte gilt, full plate, cylindrical pillars, fuse and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental balance cock with polished steel endplate, silver regulation dial. Dim. 31 x 32 mm.
