Hamilton - White Gold - Piping Rock Hamilton Watch Co., Lancaster, Pa., "Piping Rock," No. 2912378, case No. 146342. Made circa 1950. Fine and rare, tonneau-shaped, 14K white gold and black enamel wristwatch with a 14K white gold link bracelet with deployant clasp.
C. Two-body, solid, polished, black champlevé enamel bezel with painted white gold radial Roman numerals, mobile lugs. d. Matte silver with painted outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Blued steel Scottie hands. m. Cal. 979, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 19 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring. Dial, case, and movement signed. Dim. 28 x 37 mm. Thickness 9 mm. Approx. overall length 195 mm.
