Five-Minute Repeater Automata Crehor, Swiss. Made in the 1980s. Fine gilt-plated, keyless five-minute repeating pocket watch with automaton striking Jack.
C. Three body, "Empire,? polished back with floral motif engraving, reeded band. D. Blue with printed Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, set in the center of a blued plate with applied yellow gold classical figures playing the harp and striking a bell, a pointer dog hunting a duck below. Black Breguet hands. M. Cal. 2801, gilt brass, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, repeating on gongs by depressing lever in the band. Dial signed. Diam. 49 mm. Thickness 14 mm.
