Chronometer, detent escapement with Chain and fusee A. Huguenin & Sons, Le Locle, Suisse, No. 14947. Made circa 1890. Fine, large, heavy, keyless, 18K yellow gold chronometer pocket watch made for the South American market.
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", solid, heavily engraved covers with floral ornamentation, front centered with blank cartouche, engine-turned band, hinged cuvette. D. Silvered with painted radial Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds dial, applied central and peripheral gold floral decoration. Blued steel ?Louis XV? hands. M. Cal. 16???, nickel, three-quarter plate, fausses cotes decoration, 19 jewels, chain and fuse, spring detent escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with screws, blued steel flat balance spring, gold screwed chatons. Case, dial and movement signed. Diam. 55 mm
