Longines Diving Chronograph Longines, Swizterland, Ref. 8224-4. Made in 1969. Fine and unusual, water-resistant, large tonneau-shaped, stainless steel wristwatch with round button chronograph and registers. Accompanied by original Longines stainless steel bracelet.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed, screw-down case back. D. Black, white and red with applied luminous steel indexes,inner black and red rotating graduated bezel for the decompression times operated by the crown at 10, inner minute/seconds divisions, subsidiary dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers. Luminous steel baton hands. M. Cal. 72A, rhodium-plated, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, shock absorber, selfcompensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case, and movement signed. Dim. 43 x 45 mm. Thickness 16 mm.
