Chinese Mantle Clock No. 5 Unsigned, made in the People's Republic of China, No. 5. Made in the 1920s. Unusual, hour and half-hour striking gilt brass 8-day clock with decorative porcelain pillars and side plaques.

Gilt brass on turned feet, hinged front and rear glass doors, glass sides mounted with oval plaques depicting a European lady beside a lake within decorative borders, squared porcelain pillars, mounted turned brass finials to the upper with raised urn on decorative base. D. White porcelain with a matching decoration, Roman numerals with outer Arabic numerals. Painted decorative hands. M. Gilt brass with going barrels, anchor escapement, pendulum decorated with portrait of a European lady, striking on a gong.
