Three-body, the top representing a Lifeguard of the Blues and Royals standing and holding a trumpet against a white gold sentry box, his helmet set with rubies, his sash and glove with diamonds, watch below, spring-loaded and hinged, front cover in the form of a trumpet banner engraved "ER II" surmounted by the royal crown. D. Silvered, dot indexes and Arabic quarter-hour numerals. Blued steel Alpha hands. M. 15.5 x 12 mm., rhodium-plated, fausses cotes decoration, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance with self-compensating flat balance spring. Punched with maker's mark inside back cover. Dim. 45 x 29 mm.
