Hinged gold cuvette concealing the polychrome painted on enamel erotic automaton scene depicting Mephistopheles, Faust, and Marguerite, on an engraved silvered backplate. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, subsidiary seconds. Steel spade hands. M. Cal. 20???, matte gilt, 17 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, repeating on gongs by activating slide on the band.
