Imhof Calendar Desk Clock Imhof, Swiss, No. 1587787. Made for the German market, circa 1960. Fine, gilt brass, 8-day going desk clock with double-date calendar.

C. Square, gilt-brass, inclined, stepped sides. D. Brushed silver with applied gilt baton indexes and black Roman quarter-hour numerals, apertures for the days of the week (in German)and the date. Gilt baton hands. M. Rhodium-plated, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, rack regulator. Dial and movement signed. Dim. 11.2 x 11.7 x 4.8 cm.
