Cord Early Self-Winding Cord, ?Automatic?, case No. 97784. Made in the 1930s. Fine and unusual, rectangular, early, self-winding nickel chromed wristwatch with ?Ruettelautomat? system.
C. Three-body, polished, lapidated bezel, hooded lugs, exterior case securized to the case back with four mobile screw-bars, inside wheel to set the time. D. Matte silver with painted black Arabic numerals, subsidiary dial for the seconds, outer minute track. Blued steel epee hands. M. 9???, rhodium plated, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating blued Breguet balance spring, index regulator, the movement rolls back and forth, thus winding the watch. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 24 x 37 mm. Thickness 9 mm.
