L?Epee ? Solid Silver Miniature Carriage Clock L?Epee, France, No. 00003537. Made in the late 20th century. Very fine and possibly unique, miniature, 8-day going carriage clock with solid silver case.

C. Solid silver, "corniche", glazed sides and back door, the top glazed to view the escapement, hinged carrying handle. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, engine-turned silvered dial mask. Blued steel poire and lozenge hands. M. Rectangular, silvered, four pillars, 17 jewels, barrel for the going train, straight line lever escapement mounted on a silvered platform, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial and movement signed, movement numbered. Dim. 60 x 45 x 40 mm. excluding handle. Property of a French Collector
