C. Gilt brass, "oval bout anglaise riche", bow-sided, twisted corinthian columns, glazed sides and back door, the top glazed to view the escapement, hinged carrying handle. D. Annular white enamel with Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions, polished gilt dial mask with applied foliate fretwork. Blued steel poire and lozenge hands. M. Rectangular, gilt brass, four pillars, barrel for the going train, cylinder escapement mounted on a gilt platform, plain three-arm balance, flat balance spring, index regulator.
