Outer: two-body, back with painted on enamel portrait of a lady, paste frame, translucent imperial blue enamel border over circular engine-turning, band engraved with repeated pattern, front bezel set with pastes. Inner: two-body, ?bassine?, polished, with deep back. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track with five-minute Arabic numerals. Paste-set elaborate hands. M. 28 mm, hinged, frosted gilt full-plate with pentagonal baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, brass balance with flat balance spring, single-footed cock with ruby-paste endstone. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 39 mm.
