Two-body, "Louis XVI", the back with en grisaille painted on enamel classical scene highlighted with gold paillons, translucent royal blue background over sunray engine-turning, gold paillon border, bezel decorated to match. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions with five-minute Arabic numerals, winding aperture at 2. Gold beetle hands. M. 33 mm, hinged, frosted gilt full-plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, brass balance with flat balance spring, continental cock with polished steel endplate, silver regulation disc, repeating on the inside of the case activated by depressing the pendant. Dial and movement signed. Diam. 42 mm.
