Two-body, "Louis XV", painted on enamel with a view of a harbor, a classical building and a gentleman on horseback in the foreground, enamel "pearl" border, the outer border and bezel decorated with pale blue champleve enamel. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and large Arabic five-minute numerals. Gold Louis XV hands. M. 34 mm, hinged, gilt brass full plate, turned pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, brass three-arm balance with flat spring, continental cock pierced and engraved with scrolls, polished steel endplate, rack and pinion regulator with silver plate. Movement signed. Diam. 44 mm.
