C. Two-body, "Louis XVI", the bezel decorated with two-color gold fruiting vines, the back set with a painted on ivory portrait miniature of a lady within a glazed compartment. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals, outer dot minute divisions and Arabic 15-minute numerals, winding aperture at 2. Gold sun hands. M. 35 mm., gilt full plate, turned pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement, three-arm brass balance, flat balance spring, continental balance cock, silver regulation dial, repeating with two hammers on blocks in the case activated by depressing the pendant. Movement signed. Diam. 43 mm.
