Two-body, "Louis XV", engraved with a scene of a boy at a water pump by a cottage, painted on enamel background with ladies and gentleman in a landscape, the front bezel chased and engraved with flowers and scrolls. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track and large Arabic five-minute numerals, inner calendar numerals. Gold Louis XV hands. M. 38 mm, hinged, gilt brass full plate, pentagonal baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, steel three-arm balance with flat spring, continental cock pierced and engraved with scrolls, polished steel endplate, rack and pinion regulator with silver plate. Movement signed. Diam. 47 mm.
