Two-body, "Louis XV", back chased with flowers and scrolls, a cherub and dog below, centred by the painted enamel scene "The workshop", the front bezel chased with flowers and scrolls, rose diamond-set thumbpiece. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals intersected by diamond-set indexes, outer minute track and large Arabic five-minute numerals. Diamond-set hands. M. 38 mm, hinged, gilt brass full plate, pentagonal baluster pillars, fusee and chain, verge escapement with micrometric potence adjustment, brass three-arm balance with flat spring, continental cock pierced and engraved with scrolls, polished steel endplate, rack and pinion regulator with silver plate. Movement signed. Diam. 45 mm
