Swiss - L? Amerique Swiss, case No. 38324. Made circa 1820. Fine, silver and varicolored gold, quarter-repeating pocket watch with automaton Jacks.

C. Three-body, ?Empire?, engine-turned, reeded band, polished bezels. Gilt brass cuvette. D. Gold, engine-turned, with Breguet numerals on a small white enamel dial, outer minute track, varicolored gold and painted blackamoor jacks to each side appearing to strike two bells above, grassy base with a basket of flowers. Blued steel Scotties hands. M. Gilt brass full plate with cylindrical pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement, plain brass three-arm balance with flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with polished steel end-piece, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the pendant. Diam. 57 mm.
