Leroy & Cie - Bulletin 1st Classe Chronometer with 24-Hour Dial L. Leroy & Cie, Horlogers de la Marine, 7 Bd. de la Madeleine, Paris, "Bulletin de 1ere Classe", No. 872. Made circa 1910. Very fine, 18K yellow gold, keyless pocket lever chronometer with Guillaume balance, obtained First Class rating at Besançon Observatory timing contest.

C. Four-body, ?bassine?, polished, concealed hinge. Hinged gold cuvette engraved with the chronometer trial details. D. White enamel with Arabic numerals and inner 24-hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial. Gold spade hands. M. Cal. 18 ½???, matte gilt, stamped with the Besançon viper?s head mark, 17 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, anibal brass Guillaume balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case, cuvette and movement signed. Diam. 50 mm.
