Swiss ? Minute Repeating Watch Swiss, No. 4620. Made for Spaulding & Co., Chicago, circa 1915. Very fine, keyless, minute-repeating, 18K yellow gold pocket watch.
C. Four-body, "demi-bassine", solid, polished, the back with applied monogram. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with fancy Arabic numerals, outer minute track, sunk subsidiary dial for the seconds. Blued steel hands. M. Cal. 17''', rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 29 jewels, straight line counterpoised lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, swan-neck micrometer regulator, repeating on gongs activated by a slide on the band. Dial and movement signed for the retailer. Diam. 47 mm.
