Longines ? 36-Hour Marine Lever Chronometer Longines, "Chronometer", retailed by A. Wittnauer Co., New York, movement No. 3970615. Made circa 1945. Fine, mahogany-cased, 36-hour going, keyless, marine lever chronometer with power reserve indication.

C. Two-tier mahogany box, gimballed and weighted brass case, threaded glazed bezel with reeded edge. D. Matte silver, Arabic hour numerals, outer minute track, subsidiary seconds dial at 6 o'clock with Arabic 10-second numerals, power reserve indication below 12. Blued steel spade and lozenge hands. M. Cal. 21.29, 19???, rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, patented cam-type micrometer regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim: bowl 69 mm diam., box 11.5 x 11.5 x 8.5 cm.
