Universal Yellow Gold ?Compax" Universal, Geneve, "Compax Chronograph", case No. 795533, Ref.12217. Made in the 1950s. Fine yellow gold wristwatch with square button chronograph, registers and tachometer.

C. Three-body, polished and brushed, inclined bezel, concave lugs, snap-on case back. D. Two-tone silver with applied Roman numeral at 12 and yellow gold dots, outer 1/5th seconds scale with 5-minute/seconds Arabic markers and tachometer graduation to 1000 UPH, subsidiary guilloche dials for the seconds, the 12-hour and 30-minute registers. Yellow gold baton hands. M. Cal. 381, rhodium-plated, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam 31 mm. Thickness 12 mm.
