Enamel by M. Ducrey, made for the tenth anniversary of the Musée de l?Horlogerie et Emaillerie in Geneva in 1981. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold and enamel, keyless, astronomical instantaneous perpetual calendar commemorative watch with phases of the moon and visible ?cadrature? work. Accompanied by a fitted box and a COSC certificate.

C. four-body, solid, ?bassine et filets?, the back cover with a painted on enamel view of a watchmaker?s work-shop, with bench in the foreground, a singing bird box, an early enamel watch and a rounding-up tool visible on the bench, gold hinged cuvette over gold bezel glazed for viewing the movement. D. glass, exposed calendar work, hour and minute chapters unmarked, four subsidiary dials: days of the month, on the right months, on the left days of the week, all painted in white light enamel, at six o?clock phases of the moon.?Bâton? blued steel hands. M. 39.4 mm, rhodium-plated, ?fausses côtes? decoration, 18 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating balance-spring, spring-loaded micrometric regulator, frosted perpetual calendar work, stamped twice with the Geneva Quality Hallmark. Case and movement stamped with the ?Groupement Genevois des Cabinotiers?. Enamel signed. Diam. 51 mm.
