Julius Assmann, Glashütte, No. 10790, circa 1880. Very fine, 18K gold and enamel, set with diamonds, keyless pendant watch accompanied by a gold chain with hardstone beads.

C. four-body, ?bassine?, engraved in vermicelli pattern, back cover with oval dark blue translucent enamel medallion with a flower in the center set with rose-cut diamonds, gold hinged cuvette. D. white enamel, Arabic numerals, outer minute divisions with 5-minute red Arabic markers, subsidiary sunk seconds ?Louis XV? gold hands. M. 28 mm (12 '''), frosted gilt brass 3/4-plate, 15 jewels, straight line Glashütte type lever escapement with gold pallet fork and escape wheel, cut bimetallic compensation balance with blued steel Breguet balance spring.
