For Hermès Jaeger Illuminated World Globe Table Clock Jaeger, "Mappemonde", Ref. 163, the globe gores by J. Forest, 17-19, Rue de Buci, Paris. Made circa 1935. Fine and very rare, glass, chrome and leather, 8-day going Art Deco table clock with electric illuminated terrestrial globe.

Annular white and gray for the day and night hours, bold Arabic numerals, minute track above with 24-hour numerals. Red triangular pointers for the hours and minutes. M. Cal. 201, rhodium-plated, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Case signed. Dim. 25 x 20 cm. Property of a French Collector
