Minute Repeating Travel Clock Swiss, No. 264835. Made circa 1910. Fine and very rare, minute-repeating, 8-day going keyless desk clock.
C. Rectangular, leather-covered gilt-metal, sliding back cover, large winding crown at the top, repeat button in the side, gilt-brass bezel. D. Brushed silvered with luminous Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Luminous blued steel skeleton hands. M. Rhodium plated, fausses cotes decoration, large going barrel, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, regulation disc on the backplate, centrifugal governor, repeating on gongs activated by depressing the button in the side of the case. Dim. 61 x 51 x 32 mm.
