Leroy Agate Watch Leroy à Paris. Made circa 1755. Fine, small, Louis XV, 18K gold and agate pocket watch.

C. Two-body, "Louis XV", the bezel and band with wavy edge, the back of polished agate graduated from red to turquoise to green. D. White enamel, radial Roman numerals, outer minute track, outermost five-minute Arabic numerals. Gilt Louis XV hands. M. 29 mm., hinged gilt brass full plate with square baluster pillars, fusee with chain, verge escapement with plain brass three-arm balance, flat balance spring, gilt brass continental cock with faceted endstone. Movement signed. Diam. 42 mm.
