Notes

The present watch is extremely beautiful, the pink gold case and the dial and hand combination with applied pink gold indexes and dauphine hands is usually only found on the highest grade watches of the great watch houses. This is only the second example of the Longines 8-day pocket watch, Cal. 19.41, to appear at auction and by far the most attractive of the two. For a description of the Longines caliber 19.41 see "Les Mouvements de Montre de la Maison Longines", Patrick Linder, 2007, p. 312-313.
