Tavannes for Dunhill - Gold Purse Watch Tavannes Watch Co., retailed by Dunhill, ?Chronometre Tavannes?, movement No. 92745, case No. 828495. Made circa 1920. Fine and very rare, 18K yellow gold purse watch with concealed shuttered dial.

C. Rectangular, polished, with two panels that flip open by pressing the spring-loaded sides of the case to display the movement and the dial, which can be tilted and held by the panels, making it a desk clock, ring suspension loop. D. Matted silver with applied yellow gold Arabic numerals, outer minute track. Gold Breguet hands. M. 9???, rhodium plated, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with 3 adjustments, flat balance spring, index regulator. Signed Tavannes on dial, case, and movement, and Dunhill on the dial. Dim. 45 x 32 mm.
