Angelus ? World Planisphere Desk Clock Angelus, Swiss, No. 81927, Ref. 861. Made circa 1955. Fine and unusual, gilt-brass, 8-day going desk clock with hinged world planisphere grilles.
C. Rectangular, gilt-brass, curved ends, hinged pierced double doors over the dial with world planisphere, a caravelle and compass points, shaped base. D. Brushed silver with applied gilt brass baton indexes and double quarter-hour indexes. Gilt brass dauphine hands. M. 22???, brushed, 15 jewels, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Dim. 15 x 13 x 5 cm.
