C. Rectangular, polished gilt brass, the top, sides and base painted to simulate tortoiseshell, hinged back door engraved with the Hermès emblem, brass feet. D. Oval, textured gilt with applied gilt-brass baton indexes, luminous dots, date aperture at 6. Luminous gilt dauphine hands. M. 50 mm., rhodium plated, line decoration, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Hermès, movement signed Luxor. Dim. 8.6 x 7.5 x 4.5 cm. Property of a French Collector
