Hermès - Desk Clock Hermès, Paris, No. 1337, the movement by Luxor, Swiss. Made circa 1960. Fine, gilt-brass and painted 8-day going desk clock with alarm and calendar.

C. Rectangular, polished gilt brass, the top, sides and base painted to simulate tortoiseshell, hinged back door engraved with the Hermès emblem, brass feet. D. Oval, textured gilt with applied gilt-brass baton indexes, luminous dots, date aperture at 6. Luminous gilt dauphine hands. M. 50 mm., rhodium plated, line decoration, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Hermès, movement signed Luxor. Dim. 8.6 x 7.5 x 4.5 cm. Property of a French Collector
