Hermès - Autel Desk Clock Hermès, Paris, "Pendulette à cadran deployant", No. 1364, the movement by Luxor, Swiss. Made circa 1960. Fine, gilt-brass and painted 8-day going desk clock with alarm.
C. Rectangular, brushed and polished gilt brass, hinged shutters opening to reveal the three-section chapter ring, the handles forming the Hermès ?H?, hinged back door engraved with the Hermès emblem, brass feet. D. Upright Roman numerals on the interior of the shutters and bezel to form the chapter ring, glazed center painted to simulate tortoiseshell. Luminous gilt dauphine hands. M. 50 mm., rhodium plated, line decoration, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating flat balance spring, index regulator. Dial signed Hermès, movement signed Luxor. Dim. 8.6 x 7.5 x 4.5 cm. Property of a French Collector
