Gold Chronograph Rattrapante Swiss, No. 153798. Made circa 1915. Very fine, 18K pink gold, keyless pocket watch with splitseconds chronograph and instantaneous 30-minute register.
C. Four-body, "demi-bassine", polished, split-seconds gold push-button on the band at 11 o?clock, co-axial button in the crown for start/stop and return-to-zero of the chronograph, button for setting on the band at 1 o'clock, back monogrammed. Hinged gold cuvette. D. White enamel with radial Roman indexes, outer minute track, outermost fifths of a second chronograph divisions, black painted Arabic five seconds numerals, subsidiary seconds dial and 30-minute register with black numerals. Blued steel spade hands. M. 18???, frosted gilt, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement with antenna compensation, bimetallic split balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, micrometer regulator, split-seconds mechanism. Case and movement numbered. Diam. 51 mm, Thickness 18 mm.
