G. A. Huguenin & Fils, Ponts Martel, Suisse, No. 143662. Made circa 1890. Fine, heavy, keyless, 18K yellow gold and black enamel pocket watch with special case and dial made for the South American Market.
C. Four-body, "bassine et filets", solid, covers centered by painted black scenes representing a resting hunting dog and on the reverse dead game lying by a tree trunk, surrounded by engraved floral and hunting pattern, engine-turned band, hinged cuvette. D. Silvered with painted radial Roman numerals, sunk subsidiary seconds dial, applied central and peripheral floral gold decoration. Blued steel spade hands. M. 45 mm, nickel, engraved sunburst decoration, 15 jewels, straight line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with screws, blued steel flat balance spring. Case, dial and movement signed. Diam. 53 mm.
