A. Lange and Sohne Marine Chronometer A. Lange and Sohne, Glashütte b/Dresden., No. 207-610B, circa 1940. Fine, two-day marine box chronometer with 56-hour power reserve. Accompanied by its original rating certificate. To be sold without reserve

C. Beechwood with glazed top, gimbaled resin bowl with screw-down glazed bezel, resin gimbal ring locked by swiveling arm mounted in the front right corner. D. Silvered, Arabic hour numerals, subsidiary seconds at 6, up-and-down indicator at 12. Black spade hands. M. 84 mm, brass full plate, turned pillars secured by screws, oeil de perdrix decoration, fusee and chain, Harrison's maintaining power, Earnshaw spring detent escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance with four circular mean time weights and two temperature nuts, free-sprung helical balance spring with outer terminal curves. Dial, case and movement signed and numbered. Dim: height, width and depth: 18 cm
