C. Four-body, the bezels and band engraved with floral motifs, the back with an engraving of General Charles Cornwallis. Gilt brass cuvette. D. Gold with floral motifs, outer dot minute indexes on both subdials, subsidiary seconds and large center seconds. Blued steel skeleton hands. M. 45 mm., frosted gilt with bridges, lever escapement, three-arm brass balance with internal blued steel rim for temperature compensation, blued steel fl at balance spring with gilt brass balance cock, index regulator, slide on band to stop the seconds. Case signed. Diam. 53 mm.
