In 2002, Louis Vuitton marked its entry into the world of watchmaking with the creation of the Tambour watch. This collection ? a blend of tradition and modernity ? has become iconic. The Tambour watch embodies Louis Vuitton's core values of craftsmanship, know-how and emphasis on excellence. In 2011, Louis Vuitton announced the acquisition of ?La Fabrique du Temps?, a high watchmaking workshop. The integration of ?La Fabrique du Temps? reflects Louis Vuitton's desire to uphold the highest quality standards for its watches. For Only Watch 2011, Louis Vuitton worked with Paul Pettavino to design this unique example of the distinctively sporty Tambour Diving II chronograph in black gold (white gold with PVD treatment). As in previous years, the watch's design adopts Paul's favorite color, orange, which has become the symbol of the collaboration between Only Watch and Louis Vuitton.
