Maximilian Büsser and Friends is a concept laboratory dedicated solely to designing and crafting small series of radical concept watches in collaboration with talented professionals. MB&F, after a powerful contribution in 2009, returns to the Only Watch charity auction with another emotionally-charged piece, this time in collaboration with Chinese artist Huang Hankang. The HM4 Only Watch is a magical synthesis of children's dreams and cutting-edge Haute Horlogerie. It describes the only way children - symbolised by the panda - can currently escape from the disease: through their dreams... and most kids have a recurrent dream: the dream of FLYING. Huang Hankang Born in 1977 in Suzhou, China. After earning an art degree, he moved to Paris to further his artistic education. His talent was internationally recognised in 2007 with an exhibition in New York and subsequent exhibitions in Europe. When Huang was asked if he was interested in collaborating with MB&F on the Only Watch project, it took only one glance at HM4 Thunderbolt for him to realize that this was an artistic medium he had not considered before and he relished the challenge and the cause. Huang's original painting, which served as inspiration for the piece, accompanies the HM4 Only Watch.
