Fine, gold-plated, 8-day going, hour and half-hour striking, minute repeating carriage clock with day-date calendar, alarm, moon phases and lunar calendar. Accompanied by a fitted L?Epée box and key.

Gold plated, "gorge", polished, stepped base and upper, 4 plain pillars with lapis lazuli quarter divisions, glazed sides and back door, the top glazed to view the escapement, hinged carrying handle. D. White enamel with radial Roman numerals, outer minute divisions, Arabic fi ve-minute numerals, alarm setting, date and days of the week dials below, aperture for the moon phases with lunar calendar. Blued steel Breguet hands. M. Rectangular, gilt brass, plain pillars, going barrels for the going, striking and alarm trains, 11 jewels, straight-line platform lever escapement, monometallic balance, selfcompensating fl at balance spring, index regulator.
