EBERHARD SPLIT CHRONOGRAPH, YELLOW GOLD Eberhard & Co., La Chaux-de-Fonds, "Split Seconds Chronograph", movement No. 17467, case No. 1014173. Made in the 1940's. Very fine and rare, 18K yellow gold wristwatch with olive-shaped button split chronograph, registers, tachometer and an 18K yellow gold Eberhard buckle.
C. Three body, solid, polished and brushed, concave lugs, stepped hinged bezel, hinged case back, splitchronograph function activated by the winding crown. D. Silver, with applied luminous baton indexes, outer minutes and fifths of a second track with every five Arabic minute numerals, subsidiary dials for the seconds, 30-minute and 12-hour registers, outermost tachometer scale. Luminous blued steel baton hands. M. Cal., rhodium plated, straight-line lever escapement, monometallic balance, self-compensating Breguet balance spring, index regulator. Dial, case and movement signed. Diam. 40 mm. Thickness 15 mm
