GRANDE SONNERIE MINUTE REPEATING CLOCKWATCH WITH CHRONOGRAPH Swiss, No. 41000. Made circa 1890. Fine and very rare, large, 18k gold, hunting cased, grande sonnerie striking and trip minute-repeating, two-train, keyless clockwatch with chronograph, register and skeletonized dial.

C. Four-body, bassine et fi lets, polished, button for the chronograph at 2, for the trip minute-repeating at 4. Hinged gold cuvette. D. Transparent glass with Arabic numerals on applied gold reserves, gold chapter rings for the seconds and 30-minute registers. Blued steel spade hands. M. 20???, rhodium plated, wavy-line decoration, two-train with tandem winding, counterpoised straight-line lever escapement, cut bimetallic compensation balance, blued steel Breguet balance spring, index regulator, striking and repeating on gongs, sonnerie/silence slide on the band. Case punched JB-B. Diam. 58 mm.
